  • 40 years of trickle-down economic theory has worked for a few, but not many. Instead, Middle-Out Economics focuses on the middle class, using economic policies to grow the economy from the bottom up and the middle out. First introduced by The World Bank and International Monetary Fund, the term was popularized by President Obama in 2012.

  • What is Project 2025?

    Project 2025's full title is '2025: The Presidential Transition Project' It proposes that the entire federal system, including independent agencies such as the Department of Justice, be placed under direct of control of the resident.

    The plan also calls for eliminating protections for thousands of government employees, who could then be replaced by political appointees.

    'Project 2025: The Presidential Transition Project' proposes:

    1. Abolishing the Department of Education

    2. Abolishing the Federal Reserve Banking System

    3. Using taxpayer dollars to fund private religious schools

    4. Rounding up and mass deportation of illegal immigrants

    5. Dismantling the Department of Homeland Security to create a new border policing operation

    6. Increased Arctic drilling

    8. "Stoping the war" on oil and natural gas and end federal funding to research renewable energy

    9. Minimize corporate and income taxes and consider a return to gold-backed currency

    10. The department of Health and Human Services would "maintain a biblically based definition of marriage and family"

    Several Trump staff are authors of the plan, such as Paul Dans, Chief of Staff at the Office of Personnel Management, former Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts, and Russell Vought, Director of Management and Budget.
